Construction Ship Resolution Laying Foundations for the windfarm on the kentish flats off Whitstable

Windfarm Foundations.
First, the foundation will be placed. It is a cylindrical steel tube with a diameter of about 4 metres and a material thickness of 4.5 cm. As specially designed jack-up vessels with heavy-duty hydraulic hammers will be used to drive the mono-pile some 28 to 34 meter metres into the seabed depending on the geology of the sea bottom.
